Chapter 506.1

Chapter 506.1

“…”

I rested my elbows on the railing, propped myself up on my cheekbones, crossed my legs, and just zoned out.

As usual, this chair was comfortable.

It did not give much in the way of comfort, but sitting in it still made me feel great.

I liked this throne so much that I sat on it whenever I passed by it, even if I had nothing else to do.

When I sat on this throne, I felt a sense of belonging, just like the feeling I felt when I crossed my arms, crossed my legs, or scratched my back.

In fact, the dungeon created my body and everything else based on the “information” that was probably stored in my soul, leading to me being born into this world.

In a sense, I was a child of a dungeon.

Well, anyway, since I have various connections with the dungeon, it would be natural for me to have a high affinity with this throne, which should be called the epicenter of this dungeon.

To use the previous analogy, this throne would be the same as my arms and legs.

–When I thought about it, this throne was also quite mysterious.

There was a throne in the ruins of a dungeon recently discovered in the western area of Demon Forest, where it was believed that the founder dragon had lived, and there was also a throne in the ghost ship dungeon.

In fact, the Rogard Empire also had a throne. Of course, it was not the grand throne in the audience hall, but one associated with the dungeon.

After finishing my exploration of the west area of the Demon Forest, I went to the Rogard Empire and looked for the throne in the adjoining room connected to Shen’s former office.

It was placed in a room that had apparently been used as a library.

Perhaps that room was similar to the throne room in our dungeon, and that was where the Rogard Empire was founded.

It didn’t look much like a throne room, though.

It was not as spacious as mine, and I guess it had not expanded at all since the early days.

It may have been simply unnecessary, or they couldn’t do anything about it.

I had been thinking about it for a long time…but as far as I had read the remaining dungeon-related records, the dungeon in the Rogard Empire seemed to have more restrictions compared to ours.

I knew that as the dungeons were passed down from generation to generation, the number of usable features were reduced, but still, from the original features, it seems that there were not that many things that could be done.

At first, I discovered that even when they have DP, they could not produce just about anything from the DP catalog, like my DP catalog at home.

Even excluding common monsters that I have known from my previous life, the number of monsters that could be created was rather limited, the upper strength limit was also low, and the facilities that could be used to create them were also less compared to mine.

Now that I have succeeded in becoming the Demon Lord of that dungeon, the control function seemed to have been overwritten to match the standards of my dungeon, so the problem about the limited features was now solved.

However… this made me think that my dungeon might be more unique than others.

Perhaps the difference might be attributed to the difference in power that the dungeon possessed from its inception.

It was said that the Rogard Empire used to be covered in forests, but it would hardly compare to the Demon Forest and its rich amount of magic power so it probably didn’t have that much magic power upon its creation.

It would have been nice to know how the ghost ship dungeon used to look like, but there were no records of that place at all, so I couldn’t comment on it.

Anyway, there were always dungeon cores and throne rooms in every dungeon.

I wonder why the dungeon core and the throne room appeared as a set in the first place.

I heard that a dungeon was the “seed of the world” when you get right down to it, but did that imply that the throne room was there because the dungeon master was technically a ruler of the world?

I thought it had some significance, but it might have been because of those merry gods.

Maybe they decided to have it there because it looks cooler, or because it looked better with a throne.

The gods may have given some kind of advice to the dungeon creator, “Dominus,” who was technically the creator of this world.

It was interesting, because my hypothesis seemed surprisingly right.
